Union County has received a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the Federal Government.  The Town of Fairview, along with several other municipalities in the county, voted to participate in these grants.  Union County has allocated money from this grant for a pilot Septic Repair Program.  This program is aimed at low- and moderate-income families who have failing septic systems.  Grant awards are available for up to $30,000 in the form of a deferred forgivable loan.  See attached for details of the program.  If you have questions, you can contact Zsuzsi Kadar with Centralina.  Her phone number is:  704-688-7033         Her email is:  zkadar@centralina.org
