I would encourage each of you to go to the polls and vote in our upcoming municipal election.  If you don't vote, you shouldn't complain.

Election day is November 2, 2021.

Here is information on early voting for the municipal elections.  You can vote at the Griffin Room at the Union County Library-Main, 316-A East Windsor Street, Monroe, NC  28112.

Dates and hours: (October 14-October 30) Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.  Saturday October 30, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Note that October 30 will be the only early voting weekend date.

You can register to vote and cast a ballot at the early voting site listed above by completing a voter registration form and providing an identifying document with your current address (not on election day).

Acceptable identifying documents are:  NC Driver's License, Government agency issued photo ID, Student photo ID with a school document showing the student's address, Utility bill, bank statement, payroll stub, or any government agency document with your name and current address.

Please take your responsibility to vote seriously.
